Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan Collectible by Fools Paradise Teased!

Teasers - stills& video clip - from Fools Paradise for their upcoming collectible release, and it doesn’t leave much “surprises” for their Chicago Bulls’ Michael Jordan figure, does it?

More forward from their recent Batman-themed and Star-Wars-themed interpretations, the Hong Kong based toymakers next sets their sights on “Sports Heroes”, with this "Floating Bull" also codenamed "THreeKIngTwoTHree" (denoting his jersey number "23") sporting either two interchangeable heads, or removable horns! Remember when we first saw the WIPs (for “STILLNESS” in Thailand)? #NICE

Attack on Titan Season 2 Launches April 2017

ANIPLUS announces that Season 2 of “Attack on Titan” will be simulcasting on in April 2017! And while we await trailers for the anime, here’s a peek at the official “key visual” for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2014-anime!

I still remembered the intense waiting for the weekly episodes - which I had dutifully watched every Sunday morning, funnily on a murky playback, as I had not been able to track down a much better site … but I was always focused on the story which unfolded before me - free from comparison - either by reading the manga by Hajime Isayama, nor any other media besides the anime episodes itself!

I had been watching anime on and off through the years, but always in a binge capacity, and never truly following a weekly, and if I am being wholly honest, AoT was the main reason that had pulled me back into the fold, and of my subsequent and current need for anime and leading to the #iNot Otaku! blog!

It wasn’t just the gore, not just the twisted charm of despair and faint hope, and a dystopian fictional future that parallels our real world, but also somehow the notion of “loss” and humanity, that resonated with me … along with happenings in my personal life, “fear of emptiness” was indeed powerful, and alluring, I admit.

Truthfully, my Sundays felt empty when the final episode aired, and with every crumb of AoT slices I managed to find online, or via collecting the related toys and collectibles, failed to regain my interest … and with the 2 “live action” feature films somewhat utterly tainted my acceptance of the notion, I had frankly not held on any further than I originally had…

Maybe the soundtrack (featured below) might help pull me back into the fold … it is after all, one of the vast difference when it comes to visual art comparisons - manga illustrations or moving animation - is the added depth of emotion that comes with the sensory perception, and to me is one of the main failures of the live action films … but that’s just me :)

Full Trailers for Spider-Man: Homecoming (Official & International)

And the FIRST trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming has launched! Debuting on Jimmy Kimmel Live on the night of December 8th, this trailer features MORE SPIDER-MAN (played by Tom Holland), plenty of THE VULTURE (played by Michael Keaton), and loads of “Tony Stark” appearances (played by Robert Downey Jr.), and of course “Iron Man” makes an appearance!

Directed by Jon Watts, the film also stars Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover, Tyne Daly and Marisa Tomei.

And then there is a SECOND Trailer (featured below) - an “International” trailer - which features a quick relook at Captain America: Civil War -where Spidey first appeared in costume, some of the same as the above trailer, and some new sequences - including who looks to be THE SHOCKER (who teams up with The Vulture? *YIKES*), and more excitement to get you to your cinema seats come July 7th, 2017!

"A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). EVENT STORY: "In 1966, Marusan Toys has launched a toy line known as “Ultra Kaiju”, such soft vinyl toy line has received remarkable feedback and brought a lot of fun to children and adult. Thereafter, a lot of toy companies have produced similar toys, they have been very popular since then and even until now. Kaiju generally is defined as “beasty monster” in Japanese. Nowadays, soft vinyl Kaiju toys have generally spitted into 2 category: (a) Main Stream Traditional Kaiju (characters coming from movie, television and animation) and (b) Neo Kaiju / Designers’ Kaiju (original monsters created by designers through inspiration of Main Stream Traditional Kaiju Toys). Neo Kaiju has not only brought you the feeling and fun of old childhood monster toys but also generated a lot of new development into vinyl toys in recent years (such as new painting technic, swirl color vinyl mix, etc). This year, year 2016 is the 50th anniversary of “Kaiju” toys. "

Stanley Kubrick: A Shinework Odyssey - 3D Figure Available from Mike Leavitt

KING CUTS STANLEY KUBRICK from Mike Leavitt can be yours to hold, currently orderable on for US$59.00. Limited to 100pcs, the last we saw of this figure was a larger sized sculpt for Mike’s King Cuts show!
"This is a 5 inch / 12 cm version of my sculpture of Stanley Kubrick as a twin from The Shining with references to 2001, Clockwork Orange & Full Metal Jacket. It's a limited edition available until one hundred (100) 3D-prints are made. 75% of the price covers the 3D-printed material itself, 25% I added for my labor on the 3D model." - shared Mike Leavitt.
THE STORY: "The Shining transgenders Kubrick. His entire identity, even his humanity is relinquished. Hal's all seeing eye welds itself to his chest. He is a female robot. He's the ancient ape predating 2001. He grips to reality with a jelly donut stolen from a Full Metal Jacket. Clockwork Orange costuming veils him from the world in vain. Nothing can stop Stanley from drifting off into the surreal void."

SHOWA TK Trooper 1

Releasing December 16th on is the “SHOWA TK TROOPER V.2” figure from ThreeA Toys’ “Tomorrow Kings” line - which is essentially another series of words meaning “AWESOMESAUCE”!

M0rphing out from a Star Wars-Stormtrooper guise and into a warrior soldier of a undefined future, the figure made it’s display debut earlier in the year at San Diego Comic Con (additional pic below via @Sven3000), and is one of the “three” editions to be unleashed (and is one of them going to be a 3AA-exclusive? :p) … looking pretty darn “awesome” (but I’ve already said that, haven’t I? :p) thus far!
